Art Express Erasmus+ Training Course

Bringing together 30 youth workers, trainers, facilitators, visual artists and art educators, Art Express is a training course that demonstrates how visual arts can be used as a learning tool in youth work. The training course provides participants with knowledge of how to use different mediums of art in their training methods including stop motion animation, story telling, pixilation and filming by using non-formal learning methods. Theoretical and technical expertise is shared by trainers who specialise in visual arts education.

Different artistic processes are to be introduced incorporating elements of participants’ own culture. Art Express cultivates a sense of creativity and critical reflection through interactive workshops, team-building activities, discussions and group work.

To increase the impact of Art Express, the participants will share the methodology and learning tools with their local communities. Through their active participation, young people are given the opportunity to express their creativity and learn new artistic skills. By a providing a forum to discuss best practices, develop teaching and facilitation skills. Art Express will also help establish a strong international network.
