FAIRY TALE

A cinematic documentation about stereotypes and prejudice. The goal of the documentary was to show that fairy tales can be a common ground between people of different cultural, ethnic and religious backgrounds. Through fairy tales we all, as kids, acquire our first ethics and morals. In order to present this idea, we filmed two mothers and a father, from Iran, Afghanistan and Greece narrating their children favorite fairy tales. Through the parallel narration of the film the viewer observes the similarities of the presented fairy tales and thus the similarities between the narrators cultural backgrounds.
